How the Glass Jar Exchange System Works

To ensure quality, cleanliness, and a smooth pickup process, we use a personalized glass jar exchange system.

  • Initial Purchase:
You will purchase your own set of glass jars from us at $5 per jar. Each lid will be labeled with your name for easy identification.
  • How Many Jars You Need:
If you are receiving 1 gallon of milk per week, you will need a total of 4 jars (since each gallon is split into two 1/2 gallon jars).
  • Your First Set (A Set):
You will receive your first jars labeled with your name and an “A” designation (example: Janet Mathes 1A and Janet Mathes 2A).
  • Weekly Rotation:
The following week, you will receive your B set (example: Janet Mathes 1B and Janet Mathes 2B).
At that time, you will return your empty, clean A jars and pick up your fresh milk in the B jars.
  • Ongoing Exchange:
Each week, you simply rotate jars—returning the previous set and receiving your freshly filled set.
  • Optional Extra Jars (C Set):
If you would like more flexibility or backup jars, you can purchase additional jars to create a C set.

Important Guidelines:

  • We do not accept personal jars. This ensures all containers meet our cleanliness and safety standards and prevents issues such as cracks, chips, or lingering odors from previous contents.
  • Per Georgia regulations, all jars are labeled “Pet Treats for Dogs and Cats.”
  • If a jar or lid is broken, damaged, or not returned, a new jar deposit will be required for replacement.

This system keeps everything organized, sanitary, and consistent while ensuring you always receive your milk in safe, high-quality glass containers.
