Broiler Chickens

Taste the difference in pasture raised meats

Frequently asked questions and answers about our animals. If you have more please send us a message!

What does "pasture-raised" mean for your poultry?

Chicks are rasied in a brooder for 2-3 weeks until they grow their feathers. Once the feathers are in they are moved onto pasture. Moved daily to access fresh forage and insects.

Why does my chicken taste different than the chicken I buy at the store?

Taste comes from their diet. Having access to different forage and bugs in the pastures gives them a diverse diet and nutrition.

Why is my chicken frozen?

We are a small farm and growing. We keep our products frozen to extend the shelf life.
